The recently refurbished ground floor restaurant, adjacent to the lobby, is
famous in Oslo, serving traditional Norwegian food in a warm atmosphere.
Breakfast however is sometimes also served in the basement in very cosy
surroundings.

The Bondeheimen represents a type of property once far more widespread in the
cities of Norway. Its original purpose was to be a kind of home-from-home for
visitors to the city from more rural areas, and for this reason good wholesome
quality of every aspect of the hotel at an attractive price were the hotel's
original aims. They still are and this hotel comes highly recommended.
